“Spring’s Theme” is a wonderful, atmospheric instrumental ballad – it begins with a guitar that seems to play tag with the drums until the drummer (supposedly) gets the upper hand with his beat. Surprise Chef string together arrangements reminiscent of chapters in a book, taking the listener along with each turn of the page.
In their new video, they perform the track, which can be found on their third album “Education & Recreation” (Big Crown Records), live in the Legendary Diamond Mine Studios.
On their upcoming European tour, the quintet will finally come to Germany. We are already looking forward to the shows.
